Games dominate top iPad downloads for 2014

Clash of Clans made the most money out of iPad users this year, with Minecraft the most downloaded. Its good to see proper games dominate the paid app chart with The Room, Terraria and GTA all doing well. Clash of Clans is a couple of years old now, surely something can dislodge it in 2015. Also, can the word "Saga" be banned in game titles from now on.

Need for Speed Most Wanted hits the iPad

While Criterion does the job on the Vita, Firemonkeys has turned out a great effort for iOS with a fast and furious version of Need for Speed Most Wanted. It lacks the multiplayer of the console versions but is otherwise a fine addition to a proper gamer's Games folder on the iPad.



Weighing in at just under 600MB, it costs £4.99 with plenty of in-app purchases to boost the basic content.
