Mercenary Ops to blow up the iPad
Epic's Chinese off-shoot YingPei is bringing a mighty looking combat game to the iPad in the coming weeks. Mercenary Ops take the Black Ops vibe with a bio-terror threat that adds an overdose of zombie action, putting us firmly in Resident Evil territory.
Powered by Unreal Engine 3, the game looks pretty stellar and (I think) is based on a free-to-play PC offering, so if the controls translate okay, should be a bit more involving than most iOS action titles.

A first look at Infinity Blade: Dungeons in action
A video sneaked out ahead of E3 shows the dungeon crawling variant of the impressive iOS swordplay game with some neat touches such as weapon crafting and, of course, good old-fashioned monster pummelling. Its out first sighting since the launch trailer and shows the game progressing well.
With ranged attacks, and a bit of a World of Warcraft look to it, expect the game to have plenty of content updates, and likely in-app purchasing for extra goodies. Infinity Blade II enjoyed a recent update, if you haven't been back to it for a while.
