Remember all those great LucasArts and European adventures on the ST/Amiga? Well Gemini Rue pays a neat homage to them on the iPad (looks very Beneath a Steel Sky to me), having been a hit indie PC adventure in recent years. A £2.49 point-and-tap adventure, it stars Azriel Odin, an ex-assassin, on the planet Barracus and a man called Delta-Six who wakes up in a hospital with no memory.
Without knowing where to turn or who to trust, he vows to escape before he loses his identity completely.
As fate brings these two closer together, we discover a world where life is cheap, identities are bought and sold, and a quest for redemption can change the fate of a whole galaxy.
