Minecraft Story Mode Episode 4 arriving now

The first season of Minecraft Story Mode is nearing completion with the arrival of episode four out of five. The continuing adventures of Jesse and friends should be hitting iOS now. Considering Microsoft own Mojang (but not Telltale, developers of Story Mode) its odd that the first episode is only now appearing on the Microsoft Store for Windows PCs, so go iPad!

In Episode Four, with the fearsome Wither Storm more dangerous than ever, Jesse, Reuben, and the crew discover there is one thing that can destroy the command block at the heart of the monster - but they'll need to brave the perils of the Farlands to find it. As uneasy allies and ailing friends threaten to tear the group apart, can they defeat the Wither Storm in their final battle? And what sacrifices must be made to succeed? Find out in Episode Four's epic 'Wither Storm Finale' that will turn the page on one chapter before adventures begin anew in the mysterious Episode Five launching in early 2016.

PSP hit Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories tells all on iOS

Having sold millions on the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP), the mobile-friendly exploits of the GTA crew are now available on iOS. Updated and tweaked for touchscreens, it sees Toni Cipriani returning home to the streets of Liberty City.

Turmoil from gang battles, warring families, car crime and easy access to weapons create a city ripe for takeover. Improvements include real time lighting and shadows, upgraded textures and art, greater draw distance, plus updated analog steering and rebalanced targeting.

There's also cross-platform cloud saves via Social Club, support for Apple’s 3D touch and more.

Get ready for some chilly point and click adventuring with Facility 47

Not every game needs to be fast and furious or reply on nano-second reactions. Facility 47 mixes some classic point and click adventuring with rendered scenes that lit up so many "multimedia" adventures back in the day.

Set in an icy waste research station, exactly why are you there and how do you get are two of the more pressing mysteries to be solved.

Developers Inertia have a few "Escape from..." games in their archive, but his looks to be a bigger budget, more nuanced affair and its out now in free to try or a full version for just £2.99. Both are under 100MB and require iOS 6 or later.

Rebellion brings the speed of Raceline CC to iOS

Rebellion has a long history in development with some great projects in the archive. But, its not afraid to go different, with Raceline CC, a new motorbike speed fest hitting iOS today. Featuring street racing, truck dodging, twitch action, its a far cry from the endless road "simulators" doing the rounds.

The game requires iOS 9 and uses Metal for speedier, shinier graphics and runs on iPad mini 2 or higher and an iPhone 5S or higher. It is free to download with in-app purchases. Download is between 350 and 650MB depending on your device.

Free-to-play with micro transactions (up to $99 of credit for insane gamers), it is a 640MB download with visits to lots of familiar places in the Star Wars galaxy, as you create a new hero to take on the Empire.

Working for different factions helps spread the experience, across 40 plus missions, which will likely grow to keep gamers playing.

Take a peek at the making of Lara Croft GO

Square continues to bring big-screen games to mobile and tablets, with Lara Croft GO following in the bloody footprints of Hitman.

Here's a new video showing off the game in development at the company's Montreal studio. The game offers 75 levels of classic Tomb Raider fun, with a turn-based puzzling twist for around $5.

While its not quite the latest PS4 version on the go, fans of the originals should feel rather at home.
