Digital Assembly haven't strayed from the PC for their Total War series (as far as I know) but here they come, marching their Shogun forces on to the iPad and iPhone for a massed battle. The full title of Total War: Battles Shogun seems a bit odd, but takes full advantage of the Retina display.
The official site shows the game takes a more traditional RTS approach with the visuals and a turn-based tiled grid to play over. It has a touchscreen-specific interface design with lots of dragging and dropping, swiping and pinching plus single device multiplayer and more features to come. Get the game here for £4.99
